PPF questions
What’s the difference between clear PPF and color PPF?
Clear PPF is transparent and keeps your factory color. Color PPF is pigmented film that changes your Tesla’s color while still protecting the paint underneath. Both are installed the same way.
Why choose color PPF for a color change?
Color PPF gives you a new color and the protection of a TPU film with a self-healing top coat in one step, helping guard against scratches, stone chips, stains and UV.
How much does PPF cost?
Prices for Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck are listed above by model. Final pricing varies depending on vehicle model, coverage, material selection, and customization.
What does the warranty cover?
Our PPF typically carries a 5-year warranty on eligible, non-user-caused material defects, plus an installation warranty for install-related bubbling or lifting. User damage, accidents and external scratches aren’t covered. Exact terms depend on the film and project.
Will PPF damage my paint or leave residue?
No. The film we install uses non-aggressive adhesives designed to protect your paint. When properly removed by a professional, the film leaves no residue.
How do I care for PPF?
Use a pH-neutral car shampoo and avoid abrasive tools, don’t polish a fresh install, and avoid aiming high-pressure water directly at film edges. We’ll go over aftercare at pickup.
